The dead body of a woman, identified as 32-year-old M.P.A., was found in the municipality of Maicao, in the Department of La Guajira. There were no signs of gunshot or knife wounds on M.'s body, but there were bruises and blows present. CCTV footage of the fall showed M. make no attempt at defensive manoeuvres as she fell, making it likely she was already dead by then.

So far, it is unconfirmed how M. met her end, but it was reported that she was living in the building next door to where she was defenestrated.
