Shit I'm surprised I didn't see this before. I literally got attacked by a rottweiler last year. It barely got me but left a bruise on my bicep so big I thought I had a major infection. I can't imagine if that thing had latched on to me.

"Thank you". Ive lived with a variety of animals: horses, snakes, llamas, Shih Tzus & more. but I respect their nature & know what they are capable of. Truth is, we all have triggers and there are absolutely certain breeds with an innate sense of defense & protection. It is impossible to know what might trigger them.
And I am not suggetion that every single one of the dogs in these breeds will snap, because over the years they've been more & more domesticated and many go their entire life being the sweetest, lap dogs possible.

This it not an opinion; its why...for centuries, these breeds have been put in positions where protection, intimidation, power and strength were a neccesity. They were very well taken care of because they were valuable for these innate qualities. They've sat with royalty, part of military, ect.. . and they sure as hell were not pitted againt each other for dog fights.
