Re: Woman Vs Pitbull
pitbull lovers are making up for something they lack in themselves, they like the image of a strong, big-jawed dog, pretty shallow i think. The same affection and companionship can be acquired from other breeds like beagles, German shepherds, and Labradors without the violent history. i am surprised you would defend this vicious dog over a human victim, she was probably a wife or mother to someone. Good luck inflating your masculinity with that blue nose pit |

Re: Woman Vs Pitbull
I actually agree more has to be looked into when a person buys or gets a Pit. But saying people get them "to look tough" is a close minded statement. Has it ever crossed your mind that people simply love the breed? I didn't mean the woman wasn't a victim, but that should go without saying. Pit Bulls are the most discriminated against animal in the world. Blaming a dog for the horrible way it was raised is just stupid. |

Re: Woman Vs Pitbull
Those stories have no interest with me. Dogs are made bad. With the lack of responsibility is enough to make any dog mean. You can easily make any dog vicious, Pits are just the #1 choice because of their strength and intense look. Like I've stated before; I grew up around Pit Bulls and they were NEVER aggressive and very loyal to us. Last time I looked the Pit Bull is 2013 dog of the year. |

Re: Woman Vs Pitbull
Pits are the #1 choice because of their strength and intense aggression. Do you not understand why they are a problem when they get out of hand? And on your last statement, that is exactly what those previous owners said about their pitbulls, but they are no longer living because of them. Similar situation: Why do you think it is a huge risk to own a tiger/bear/cougar? |

Re: Woman Vs Pitbull
I did a search (didn't read every page) and didn't see this mentioned. Apparently her name is Delia Santucho Heinrich and she had to have her arm amputated, but she did survive. http://www.ilmessaggero.it/PRIMOPIAN...e/342358.shtml Language is in Italian (incident occurred in Argentina) but there are other pages on the Internet that are in English if you google her name. |
