I wouldn't call them psychopaths. You say they use the fact that they sell drugs to justify inappropriate levels of violence. Its not exactly like they can take her to the local police because they are all involved in illegal activity. She did it once so she would definitely do it again. She might have deserved punishment but death was overkill. I agree with Oswald. She knew what she was doing and the risks that she was taking.
