According to true shariah law it is near on impossible to have the evidence of adultery. You have to have four witnesses of good character that actually see copulation take place. Seeing two people naked together isn't enough. Who is going to commit such an act with four witnesses watching especially knowing the penalty? Also, it takes two to commit so Islamically the man should also face the same penalty. The penalty is meant as a deterrent. It is almost impossible to prove. Also, according to Islamic teaching, we are accountable for our actions while alive on the Earth however, if we suffer the penalty in this life, we will be exempt for it in the next.

Actually the punishment is decided by Allah, everything comes from Allah, even if the Prophet, peace be upon him, taught it. But, how do you suppose 4 righteous men saw that woman have sex with a man? Do you suppose she did it in open? And what about the man? Where is he? She did commit the act on her own. You have to learn the correct shariah. Some Muslims in some Muslim countries kill women just because they suspect she did adultery. This is wrong, and a sin. And they will pay for that.
