How is it that the department of transportation didn't have that particular section of the road way blocked off to civilian travel? I'd be suing the fuck out of that city if I were them. Should've never had happened.  |

It was blocked by a tow truck, she skipped round it, the guy actually tried to save her... Doubt her family will get a cent.. But it's America, they will still Sue, but I suspect her blood alcohol count might prove the stumbling block, that and the fact the road was blocked..

This is precisely why everyone should have a glass breaking device on their key chain. There is absolutely no reason she shouldn't have been able to get out of that vehicle. As rescuers will tell you, the first rule when your vehicle hits water is to GET OUT. If you reach for your cell phone to call 911, you are dead. Generally speaking, you only have between 30 and 60 seconds to get out of your seat belt, roll down the windows/break the glass, and get out to swim to safety. Such a tragic loss of life. So sad.

I can; "Dam! Everybody was right, I am a dumb stupid ho!" I was there, anybody in there right mind had enough sense to stay indoors. Anybody that's lived here long enough knows how easy it floods all over Houston. I was off work for two days as this was the worse flooding in recent memory. It's akin to telling a golfer not play because of a severe lightning storm and the wanker plays anyway and gets electrocuted. Go figure! |
