Re: Woman in a SUV Drowns in Her Car After Driving into a Flooded Tunnel in Houston
I live in Texas and while Houston got flooded, they are only about 100 miles from me, we didn't get hardly any rain. We thought we were going to have to put out sandbags, but nope. I hate that people think they can go through water. I am glad she wasn't stupid enough to take another life with her.

Pro Tip: If you're ever in this situation, get in the passenger seat. Put your feet against the inside of the windscreen and push hard. Your legs can press your body weight, which might be enough to pop out the windscreen.

People who drown don't try to breathe the water. Their trachea tightens so much they can't even breathe air. They eventually die then water enters the body.

Why she didn't pop the glass on the back window or break it open with that phone in her hand is beyond me... probably something to do with being drunk.
