Woman Stabs Her Husband to Death on the Streets of São Paulo
Mogi Mirim, São Paulo, Brazil. Happened back in October, but don't think it has been posted here before. A 37-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of stabbing her husband to death. According to the Military Police, she initially claimed that her 29-year-old partner had been assaulted during a fight with another person, but footage from a surveillance camera ruled out her version of events. Also according to the Military Police, when officers arrived at the scene, a SAMU emergency medical team was attending to the victim, whose death was confirmed at the location. The man had deep cuts to the neck and chest area. The motive for the crime has not been disclosed. The police reported that the wife was sitting on the pavement and stated that she and her husband had become involved in a fight with someone they had caught stealing from a construction site, and that “the man had injured her husband and fled.” However, the owner of a nearby business provided surveillance footage disproving her version of events. |
