A shocking scene marked the early hours of Monday (26) when Leandro D. was stabbed to death by his ex-partner, Eduarda A., after a disturbance inside a residence.

What most surprised the authorities was the suspect’s behaviour: when military police arrived at the scene, they found the woman in despair over the victim’s body, attempting to perform cardiac massage to revive him. Despite the rescue attempt, Leandro was already dead.

Eduarda confessed to the crime to the officers at the scene. According to reports from witnesses and family members, the couple, who had three children together, had a turbulent relationship marked by several breakups and reconciliations.

During the forensic examination carried out by the Pará Scientific Police, investigators found two objects with blood traces a few meters from the body: a knife and gardening shears.

Eduarda was arrested in flagrante and taken to the Altamira Civil Police Station. The case is now under investigation to determine what motivated the attack.

I have to say I was impressed by how long it took him to go down. Usually a cut to an artery like that is a two-stepper. Our boy lasted almost 10, and then even managed to get back up on his feet again before the final drop. Bravo sir!
