Woman Stabbed to Death by Ex-Husband
A woman was killed this past Friday morning (18) on Licânia Street, in the Gardênia Azul neighborhood, Jacarepaguá, in the West Zone of Rio. D.P.D.S., aged 38, was on her way to work when she was approached by her ex-husband, João Carlos Borges. The man stabbed her numerous times. According to the victim's relatives, the man could not accept the fact the relationship was over. 'D's sister, Janaína, said that she ended it because he was aggressive towards her children from a previous marriage. “She couldn't take the relationship anymore because he was holding her too much. He threatened, he beat her children, and she couldn't take it. She couldn't stand seeing her children in the hands of a guy who is not a father, ”said Janaina. Police believe that the murder was premeditated because João bought a bus ticket the same day of the crime. |
