A woman was killed by at least ten gunshots in front of her home, which also served as a bar, in Peru. The victim, Astrid R. R, was 35 years old and was with her partner at the time of the attack.

According to witnesses, the gunmen arrived on a motorcycle, fired shots, and fled. The scene was left with bullet casings, tables, and beer bottles scattered at the entrance to the establishment where the woman worked.

She had reported in December 2024 that she was being harassed by a man who was reportedly her ex-partner. According to police, the woman was also implicated in extortion cases and a homicide investigation. Her current partner, H. M. C, also has a criminal record.

The victim was a mother who lived in the same place where the attack occurred, which also served as a bar and meeting place for local customers.

Following the murder, an operation was launched in the area to locate the hitmen. No arrests have been reported so far.
