A 30-year-old woman, Steffanie M.B.d.S., was shot dead in the early hours of Friday. Steffanie was breastfeeding one of her children when armed men invaded the property, took the child from the victim's lap and fired shots.

After the crime, two teenagers, both 17 years old, were identified as suspects and located by Military Police teams. They confessed to their involvement. It is believed that Steffanie had links to the Comando Vermelho gang, and it is thought her murder was ordered by members of the rival PCC gang.
