i dont think you can open the left hand door with your right hand without twisting your body and in a way, somehow, see the rear. must have been deliberate.

I thought they were going to start lynching him...hell, a lot of people just suddenly showed up. And the way he hurried his fare out of the back seat and looked around, it did seem like he was going to take off.
