Another case of dying while walking like an Asian

The golden rules of walking like an Asian:
1.- Walk very slow.
2.- Never look to the sides.
3.- Be completely oblivious to the surroundings.

Sometimes I wonder if this is a culture thing, we have lots of videos of Asians walking into the path of big machinery following the three rules, Why? I can't get it!
