Woman Robbed from Pouch with Money Dies During Exchange of Gunfire
Rio de Janeiro, On Monday morning when a 24 year old woman, who works at a company distributor of food products, walked down the street, carrying a pouch containing $17,000 company's money, to bring to a bank, like she did every Monday, got robbed from her pouch and when two security guards from the bank stepped in and exchanged gunfire with the bandits (6 of them in 2 cars) she got hit by a bullet and died later on. Also a man wearing a white shirt got hit and died. He accompanied her, same as other security guards, who were sitting inside a VW Beetle, from the same company. These security guards are not allowed to carry guns so there was not much they could do. A woman working inside a restaurant nearby told these kinda robberies are almost on a daily basis and companies asked for better police security in and around the bank. |

Re: Woman Robbed from Pouch with Money Dies During Exchange of Gunfire
So where is this pouch of money? She isn't carrying anything. And the fuck with coppers being asked to patrol more...doesn't do much. Better to hire an actual reputable security firm. Because...they would tell you that its pretty fucking stupid to be carrying a large amount of money, same person, same route, same day, every single time. Very easy for someone to study movements and ambush. But, most businesses don't think of safety for their employees, that would mean putting out a few thousand dollars for their safety. What's a life? Can just hire a new person. |
