Makes me wonder how the wild west would have been back in the day. They are pretty long arrows. I thought the English Longbow was the weapon back in the day, but those arrows are practically almost as long as a long bow. How big is the bow then?. |

It's the Indonesian controlled half of the island of New Guinea/Papua. The dark skinned folks are native to the region and are in constant conflict with the Indonesian authorities. Tribal warfare is constant as well, as seeing here.

Those are spears. Arrows penetrate deep, even from a make-shift bow. If it was a tribe, the arrows are usually poisoned. She was speared to death. |
