Woman Kills Herself By Jumping From a Hotel
An incident unfolded in Bucaramanga's downtown area when a woman plunged from the fourth floor of a hotel on Tuesday, July 18, at around 11 a.m. The hotel, situated at the intersection of Avenida Quebradaseca and Carrera 16, became the scene of a distressing event that has since drawn significant attention. The individual involved in this incident has been identified as Francisca Milady Villamizar. She was reportedly staying at the La Vega hotel, a central city establishment, when she leaped from a height of approximately 15 meters. Villamizar, a resident of Chitagá in Norte de Santander, had been lodging at the hotel for two days prior to the event. Authorities arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and confirmed Villamizar's identity and her origins from Norte de Santander. The circumstances leading up to Villamizar's drastic action remain unclear. However, hotel staff disclosed that she accessed the hotel's terrace before jumping. Investigations are ongoing to ascertain the reasons behind Villamizar's decision to jump, with law enforcement officials and hotel personnel collaborating to piece together the events that led to this unfortunate occurrence. |
