I mean...drunk drivers piss me off, but let's be honest here, this wasn't really the driver's fault.

Even with bad weather conditions, the traffic on that road wasn't heavy, she obviously was able to be cautious enough to wait for the truck to pass (when she probably could've made it across the entire street before the truck even got to her but..), she could've waited for the car to pass also.
My question was, why she didn't wait at the centerline, where there was a barrier to shield her, and then finish crossing once the drunk guy passed by her. Traffic wasn't that heavy that she couldn't have waited another ten seconds.
Also, it is the beginning of September, and they ALREADY have Sleet and snow? JESUS!
