I didn't even need to watch this video; the title was enough. It calls to mind the scene from Pan's Labyrinth, where the bad guy hands the watch to his former servant before he is executed and, in keeping with a family tradition, begins instructing her to pass down to his son the hour that his father died. "No," the servant replies coldly before shooting him in the face. "He won't even know your name." I hope this child is told his mother died before he was born. Better to live with the pain of uncertainty than to KNOW, to KNOW, that your mother didn't give enough of a shit about you to protect you from something like this. What a vicious, VICIOUS woman. |
