That's beyond selfish. To upset your children and traumatize them like that? I understand depression and hopelessness but to do that right in front of the children is beyond disturbing and just wrong.

I think the kids helped because they didn’t realise what was going on. Some kids over there aren’t wise about suicide and death without reading, tv or internet.
