Re: Woman Fatally Stabbed in Ekaterinburg, Russia
Very interesting. This was a big story in Latvia, because the girl came from a well-known Latvian family in the mining industry, and she was rich and decided she'd rather be a heroin junkie and a whore. So she was in and out of Russian and Latvian prisons. She was relatively young, I think 28 or 30. The actual cause of death was (this is translation) "dynamic rupture of posterior descending artery, dynamic rupture of middle cardiac vein, and active displacement of circumspatial/circumflexual artery." I think this is an overly descriptive and technical way of saying "bitch done got stabbed through the heart." Whoever said the guy was in prison is awesome!!! His name was Soli Zamyatin and he was in Butyrka (even though he was from Zubovo in Mordovia) for a murder of a 19 year old girl in Zubovo in 1985. HE ALSO STABBED HER IN THE FACE AND NECK, too bad they didn't have BetaMax security cameras in Zubovo back then. Soli served only 16 years for this murder, which happened while the girl was getting food at a market, and supposedly said something under her breath to a girlfriend about how creepy Soli was, so he stabbed her, killed her instantly, and then tried to kill her friend but only managed to slash open her arm before she got away. Sadly I do not know the names of these girls, and the site with the info only says stuff like "served time in KF-43 (Butyrka psychological/medical ward) for previous murder and attempted murder." He served 15 years 8 months of a 50 year sentence. "Exemplary behavior and service" was the reason for his release on Jan 1, 2002, but Butyrka is one of the most overcrowded prisons in Russian Federation, so that was (to me) obviously the reason. He served as a tailor for the prison guards for his last 4 years. I can understand Russian but I don't read it well (all of this information I am relaying is from Latvian sources, obviously written in Latvian), but there are many Russian links to this story, so some of you Russians should tell us more about this guy. Peace!!! |
