If you had a shred of intellect, you'd know the location of the heart. It's behind the left breast. He stabbed her just below the sternum, so would have gotten part of her liver, and possibly a few good blood vessels, depending on how long the knife was and how far he actually pushed it in. Kinda hard to see penetration depth from the video.

That's a perfect spot to hit the inferior vena cava. One of the largest veins in the body, it runs down your back and has a carries a lot of blood. It seems he cut that because she'd not know what hit her at first, the feel very faint because her heart is not getting blood back from the body, and therefore no longer feeding the brain. It's one of only a couple places you hit the drain that fast with a stabbing.

No, the heart is located in the center of the chest. Its apex is oreinted to the left. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Su..._the_heart.png The knife could have travelled posterosuperiorly into the left ventricle or it could could have pierced the descending aorta. She lost a lot of volume considering it was only ~14 seconds until she collapsed from low blood pressure. |
