Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India A 46-year-old woman, Sujatha, died after falling into a large vessel containing boiling sambar (a lentil-based curry or stew) while assisting with a food distribution programme during festival celebrations. She sustained severe burn injuries, and was rushed to hospital for extensive burn injuries. However, her condition subsequently deteriorated and she died the following day. |
