Damn brutal. But still very quick, as the entire video isn't even a minute long and the kill is only a small part of it. We've seen beheadings where the victim remains conscious for several minutes due to ineptness or just pure sadism, so the only special thing about this one is that it's one of those rare woman beheadings. And unlike some of the others she did scream out in pain (at least from the gut stabs), but it looks like whenever you see a machete you can't expect much of that for long. If she'd gotten one of those dreaded small knife beheadings the video would have been at least 5-6 minutes long.

My guess? Stimulation of the epiglottis. Notice how quick you gag when you stick your finger down your throat? That happens when you touch the side of your epiglottis that leads to your airways. If it gets hit directly, or when blood starts to fill the airway, the epiglottis will spasm shut and open the esophageal pathway as the stomach empties itself to clear the perceived obstruction. In this case, the first actual strike from the machete probably stimulated it enough for the body to think that it was choking. docfr8 could give better insight there, but that's just my layman's hunch. Really, be should be tagged in all discussions of trauma-related phenomena.  |

Oh, and like TargetX said, the gut stabs most likely contributed as well. My guess was just as to why it's not more common.

As a man, Idk why it always bothers me to see or hear of women being killed but it does. I know women can be just as ruthless, if not more, especially within the context of gangs/cartels but my guess as to why I feel that way would be that primal instinct to protect the “species” considering only women can conceive human offspring...on another note, I’ve seen a few videos where women were the dealers of death and torture and to be honest they were pure cunts while doing it. I can only hope she was gang/cartel related because at the end of the day if you play stupid games, you might end up winning stupid prizes.
