This young woman ingested an herbicide after a breakup with her husband. She then wandered out onto the sidewalk in front of her house.

I don't speak Spanish at all. I can read it and translate to a limited degree, but I had to rely on written reports to get the gist of this video. If someone understands her more clearly, feel free to say so and I will adjust my OP with more details.

As I understand it, the person filming her has already called for an ambulance and police, but feels they cannot provide any actual assistance since they have no first aid skills and the woman has allegedly ingested a lethal toxin.

The woman is crying and wailing in agony as the poison begins taking hold of her internal systems. At one point she begs God's forgiveness for taking the poison and she moans several times that she feels like her insides are on fire.

At the end of the video, her legs seem to begin convulsing and she rolls over and begins to vomit on the sidewalk. the guy filming decides (for better or worse) to turn the camera off before the woman actually dies. Ambulance arrived about 3 minutes later, but apparently the substance she ingested is more or less unavoidably lethal within 15 minutes of swallowing it. News station indicated that she did not survive the trip to the hospital.

This video and the accompanying story are circulating on at least half a dozen of the Honduran newsfeeds in my rotation, so I am fairly sure it is legitimate and not a hoax. but feel free to provide translation assistance if you understand her more clearly.

Good find and stuff. I don't believe she had any convulsions/spasms on video, though.

Is it just a lack of general education? I know it would be a painful death. You know it. But she must have thought she'd fall asleep peacefully.
