This was in Santiago, Dominican Republic. Shot once in the neck. Nothing was taken from her possession.

anyway:

Police officers, placed in Santiago, arrested a first lieutenant in the Army of the Dominican Republic, regarding the murder of Mrs. Sixta Celestina Duran Canela, 33, whose body was found in a nearby bushes.

It is the medical officer Fausto Garcia de la Cruz, who admitted having killed his ex-mistress stabbed and thrown the body on the street.

He told investigators that despite being separated from Mrs. Duran Canela, with which fathered a son, allegedly still fancied her.

He explained that the product of that relationship Canela realized that Duran had another partner, why chose to stab her and cause death.

It is recalled that the lady was found dead by presenting several stab wounds in the neck.
