One day, my dad was helping me park my car in his fairly full garage by standing in front waving me in, telling me when to turn, etc. (there was a lot of stuff in the garage). It went off without a hitch. But about 10 seconds later, it dawned on me that I was one slipped foot away from pinning my dad between my car and the garage wall. Made me sick to think about it. Anyway, lesson learned: if a driver is in the drivers seat and the car is running, we never, ever stand directly in front or behind. |

I learned long ago (in my teens) to never stand in front of a car being driven by a woman, regardless if the engine was turned off, idling or moving forward or backward. My wife got mad every time I made this comment but a few years ago a woman stopped her car to give her the right of way in a mall parking lot, as soon as my wife was crossing in front of her car the stupid woman stepped on the gas pedal and my wife barely escaped being run over. Now whenever I make the comment and my wife is present I add, remember that woman at the mall?   |

These Cherokees are notorious for slipping transmissions. Especially losing reverse after a while if not repaired. Probably had no reverse. Not sure why they couldn't push it in neutral, unless it was stuck in reverse and the girl was trying to get it out of reverse.  No matter, that was fucking stupid. |

yeah my guy cousin was drunk in his car ready to drive out of a parking lot last weekend, i was smart enough to take my ass to my truck and get as far away from him as possible. My girl cousin got swiped hard af trying to open the door from a moving vehicle. Idk why people think its a good idea to be near a 2000+ vehicle when theres a dumbass in the wheel
