What change would you expect? Like maybe flapping her arms in an attempt to fly?

Jeezus, how about the people that were filming? That person behind couldn't have said something about the rope not being attached, it's right in front of their eyes |

Re: Woman Dies After Being Thrown From Bridge in Rope Jump Without Safety Cord
IMO doing this sort of thing in third world countries would be a big no-no for me. I went bungee jumping (what she was doing was a rope swing as the cord that should have been attached to her wasn't a bungee cord) a few weeks ago but it was at a reputable site here in the US. The attendants checked and re-checked the cord, the harness, the cable and everything at least three times. It was like watching an airplane pilot and co-pilot do a detailed cross check in a cockpit before takeoff. Where I went no one was allowed to push, toss or otherwise touch the person jumping. That said, I'm thinking she may not have realized there was anything wrong until mere feet before she hit the ground, if that. I jumped from a platform 30 feet higher than the bridge shown and believe me, if something had gone wrong I would have been in the water before I knew it. That is, assuming I would have survived to recount my experience. Falling that (relatively short) distance happens in a couple of heart beats. I might have been able to say my full name before the bungee cord caught me if I had thought to try. |

I saw a video where it was either the EMTs or a nurse that was there said she was still conscious for a bit after hitting the ground.

Don't think she was conscious, mercifully, but I believe she still had a faint pulse, but seems like she passed away pretty quickly. They obviously didn't try to rush her to a hospital to try and save her.
