That thud was massive, even on what appears to be a relatively soft surface, as evidenced in the first video; this demonstrates that, because of her non-athletic, non-acrobatic weight, it was foolhardy to even try to get up there to begin with (which I'm sure wasn't the easiest of "acrobatic" feats)—possibly explaining why that bonehead couldn't even hold her by the hands.

Supposedly, the two acrobats were a husband and wife. They had engaged in a quarrel directly before the performance and did not fasten their safety buckle. The husband denied this in an interview: "We have been very happy, basically I haven't quarreled much. The dude killed his wife on purpose. If you look closely she's standing on his feet, this is where most of her weight is rested, when he kicked his feet out she was left holding on with nothing more than her hands and he knew that she would end up taking a fall. Murder for sure!
