Re: Woman Crossing the Railway Tracks Is Struck By Train
Having even the slightest bit of situational awareness would have saved this woman. Know what else might have saved this woman? Crossing gates.

Re: Woman Crossing the Railway Tracks Is Struck By Train
I agree, I think she must have had headphones in… So, WHY on earth she wouldn’t look, especially if her hearing was compromised, makes her today’s Darwin Award Winner!!!!!! She definitely froze. You can see when she saw it, you can see her legs do that funny step… Her nerves short circuiting. That actually happened to someone my husband had to pull his gun on. Two guys came up to his car, etc… After he scared the first guy at the driver side off, he wheeled around with the gun to the passenger side, and he said the guy just jerked like he was shocked. And as he was trying to run to his car, it never resolved so he looked like Elaine’s dancing from Seinfeld. I’ve never heard anything so funny is the way he described it. I guarantee that guy shit his pants too. |

Re: Woman Crossing the Railway Tracks Is Struck By Train
She clearly looks left just prior to entering kill zone. You can see her hair move to her right shoulder, uncovering her white collar, after her head turns left. She looks intently up the tracks. Unfortunately the train is coming from the other direction. · |

Re: Woman Crossing the Railway Tracks Is Struck By Train
She's probably crossed these train tracks every day her whole life. She got too comfortable. She was on auto pilot and got super unlucky that day. That little jump/pause right before she realizes her fate is super haunting.

Re: Woman Crossing the Railway Tracks Is Struck By Train
1. She don't even look 2 ways when she cross the track. Assuming ok 2. When she saw the train, she react but instead of moving her backwards, she stamp her legs on the same position. She actually just need to step 1 step back and she will not get hit. The timing is that just that. |

Re: Woman Crossing the Railway Tracks Is Struck By Train
Now I know why there are blaring sirens, flashing lights, and the lowering of bars on railroad crossings in USA. Dumb fucks really exists and we aim to save them.
