Re: Woman Burns to Death In Car While Bystanders Film It
All right, you have stated your opinion of what is "moral". You are entitled to that opinion. Just recognize that in the modern world there are many people with many different views on the subject of morality, both as social groups and as individuals. It is a matter of subjective opinion, unless of course you are a theist who holds to a definitive God-revealed morality, which you believe should be imposed on everyone. But then you face the burden of demonstrating the existence of your deity. And even in that case, theists differ greatly on the interpretation of the divine commandments. In the situation being discussed, for example, one will find no specific Biblical verse defending your judgement. I am not assuming that you are a Christian or some other variety of theist - I am just trying to cover the various bases here.

I will boil it down to the simple conclusion then. Your judgments of what is "moral" are your own, personal viewpoints. You have no license to impose them on anybody else. Now is it clear as to what I am on about?

Mob justice is never secondary and should never be considered trivial. That's how wonderful countries become shithole cesspools.

If you think getting burned to death in an automobile crash can be written off as "Oh, must have been a shitty driver", I sincerely hope someone destroys your car in a hit-and-run and your insurance fucks you AND your grandma. Shit happens. Half of the people in wrecks did everything right.

I agree that someone should have helped her, but i recon the heat from that fire would feel like its burning your eyes if you got close enough to reach her. Maybe they did try but couldnt? |
