Woman Burns to Death In Car While Bystanders Film It
Pretty horrific shit here. No details other than what you see. Flaming car accident, with a woman hanging halfway out of the car and screaming in agony for help as a group of people stand on the road and film her dying. I am usually the last person on here to join in with the whole "why the fuck didn't anyone do something!?" rhetoric, but Jesus Christ... Why the FUCK didn't anyone do anything? Vid is courtesy of Etsu, who doesn't have time to post here anymore, but still sends me stuff now and again. |

Nothing you can really do in that situation/accident. The heat must be intense to even get near her. RIP |

What could they do? With no fire extinguisher big enough to put it out, there is nothing they can do to help. It is not like the movies, where they rush in, get a bit red from the heat and tug her seat belt free...... If it were me on fire I'd appreciate someone whacking a tyre iron across my head to out me out of pain.... |

Re: Woman Burns to Death In Car While Bystanders Film It
Yeah, I get that fire is hot. I carry an extinguisher in my car, as should everyone. Sure, maybe it wouldn't be enough to get her out. Or maybe it would have. All I know is that at least 2/3 of that woman's body is OUTSIDE of the car and she is clearly still alive, still conscious, and semi-mobile. She is obviously trying to pull herself OUT of the wreckage. If an injured woman is able to stay conscious and mobile long enough to try to extricate herself, then the flames are not 'too intense' for bystanders to at least approach. No one is even trying. |

Personally, I would have burned myself trying to get her out, couldn't have lived with myself knowing that I was just standing by as she wreathed in pain whilst almost out of the car, doesn't look like anyone was willing to give her one last chance of survival x R.I.P x

If I couldn't extract her I would try to put her out of her misery. I would appreciate it if someone did it for me. That looks terrible. The voices on the tap seem sad. It's not like they are chanting world star or some stupid shit while she burns. I believe they want to help her but are simply not conditioned to do anything. |

Re: Woman Burns to Death In Car While Bystanders Film It
If you have ever been near a burning vehicle, then you would know that you can feel the radiant heat just meters away from the wreck. To be able to get near the vehicle to help the woman would be too hot for anyone to handle.. Judging by how the flames looked, that was a pure Class A and B fire (materials and fuel).. Unless these bystanders had a fully charged firehose, some hydraulic extrication gear, and complete 'personal protective gear, nothing can be done |
