Woman on Bike T-bones Truck and Dies
Brazil, That morning, J.M, 37, spoke with her mother J. d. O. B., 50, on the phone who told her that she was going to work. Then came a call from a neighbor with the worst news: “Your mother is dead”. The victim of the fatal accident was a caregiver for the elderly and worked between three jobs. Quite shaken, the daughter takes care of the procedures for identifying the body. Her mom was riding a Honda Biz and was riding on a road near-by where she lives but at the intersection a flatbed truck driver didn't stop and she t-boned the truck. The corner has a sign Stop. After the traffic accident, video shows that he stopped the truck, saw the victim and fled the scene. His passenger, who was arrested, said he was fiddling with his cell phone, looking for the address for delivery of construction material, when he heard a loud noise. The vehicle is from a warehouse that is close to the accident site. The report said a delegate went to the commercial establishment, where he received the information that the driver was a day laborer, identified only as A. According to the delegate, the author of the accident must answer for homicide, failure to provide assistance and evasion. |

~ She looked like she must have passed by that intersection so many times that she took it for granted that any vehicle would stop at the stop sign. But not this time, all it took was some distracted lost fool looking for an address on the phone while driving. The passenger of the truck driver was no help either.
