He’s completely at fault. She would have been visible as he drove up to the roadside edge before moving out into traffic. Completely oblivious. |

Granted. But the truck is clearly visible to her as she sits there on her bike waiting. Does it not even cross her mind that he just might be intending to turn right? Two dim bulbs, one of which got put out.

It LOOKS like she was trying to cross, probably not trying to join the traffic flow? But this was more her fault than the truck driver's, as bordering this 'intersection' there's a crosswalk she could've used to ride or walk it across: I presume traffic would've honored that attempt better? Perhaps she was new to city traffic or from some outlying area with maybe fewer murderous trucks.
