Woman Attempts to Cross the Road, Gets Hit by Car
Itabuna, Bahia state, Brazil The victim, identified as J.M., was hit by a high-speed vehicle while crossing the crosswalk. Upon impact, the victim was thrown several meters towards the sidewalk. The victim was attended to by the Mobile Emergency Care Service, which attempted to revive her for about half an hour, but unfortunately, the victim did not survive and died at the scene. Edit: Initial reports claimed that the victim was pregnant, but this information has since been denied by family members. |
