A woman dressed in an anime costume resembling the character 'Kurumi Tokisaki' was found dead after she was believed to have fallen from a condominium in Bayan Lepas, Wednesday night.

In the incident at about 9.20pm, the victim's body was found by members of the public in a parking area near a residential block after they heard a loud bang.

A resident who did not want to be identified said he heard the bang before leaving his house to check. "At first we (residents) thought it was a tremor, but when we left the house we saw a woman lying on the road," he said.

The victim had previously been seen often in the condominium lobby area wearing an anime costume. It is understood that the victim was last seen with a woman believed to be his mother on the day of the incident.
