I don't make jokes at the expense of the unfortunate souls who end up in these pics and videos. I don't think the jokes I read about them are funny or appropriate. I find them distasteful. It took me a long time to accept the fact that reading stupid comments and bad puns about girls pissing their pants as they die, racist rants, and other fun stuff posted by the psychos in the commentary is a small price to pay for being able to view the content they're reacting to because freedom of speech and information still exists. It's hypocritical to view the content while bitching about the comments. The same principle applies. You don't have to fucking read the shit, just like you don't have to fucking look at the pics & vids.

Your first incorrect interpretation of docs comment was to bring to the table that the child is innocent. I don't see where your question even belongs in a response let alone a direct question to his comment since he says nothing alluding to innocence nor guilt. The second thing is incorrectly assuming his comment is a joke. MY comment was a joke. Docs was a correct assessment of actions clearly displayed in the video. The point is is that boy in the video has been around gunfire before and knew exactly what to do when he hears a firearms report. He gets the hell out of there, thus "trained" for a situation. Blame the father for the kids actions not doc commenting on what he saw in the video. You should also lighten the fuck up. This is a gore site, not a site for weak bleeding hearts. It's life and it happens all around us all day everyday and nothing you or I do or say is going to change that. Might as well enjoy what you can while you can not bitch about all you see and all you can't do.  |

It's completely messed up, but that might actually have been (unintentionally) the best option in terms of survival. Any adult could be considered either a threat, or a witness, and are more likely to attract the attention of the shooter. A kid, particularly one that young, could well be overlooked. ...but there's no way in hell the mother was working out the probabilities at the time. |
