In hindsight, the guy that was attacked first didn't take the situation seriously enough. He should have scrambled for safety after the first hit. The woman (as usual) was too busy gabbing on the phone to focus on the danger around her. She had it coming.

She was most likely in shock. Most people don't see wild shit like that. In circumstances such as those, normal people don't think straight, and their common sense fails them. It wasn't smart for her to stay there, but ether way you do not let a kid or lady hang around danger like that.
