I don't think Muslims across the board are the problem. Religion and culture don't magically bestow upon a person the combination of rage and stomach required to commit such acts. Most people are cowards when it comes to this kind of brutality and barbarism. I also have faith in America's efficiency as "the great corruptor" -- our way of life is just too appealing and comfortable once you're in it firsthand. That won't mean shit to the hardliners who have already made up their minds on martyrdom, but Shari'a Law stops looking so appealing next to American amenities and the absence of daily barrel bomb raids. |
