I would've handed them my wallet, and then give them my watch and express how impressed I am that they got the drop on me, and clapped loudly as they left.. well thatd probably be the best thing to do.. actually Id probably pull my pistol exchange gunfire and then bleed for awhile

Didn't look fatal... But if that was me, I would have side stepped the gun barrel and quickly disarmed him. Most people react slower when they're caught off guard, so if I did it quickly and forcibly, I probably could have done it and fired at him and his partner.

Been there twice. once I complied, once was drunk and got lippy. Lucky I did not get capped both times. I now have a CPL and regularly carry a Glock 22 (.40cal) If I have to go into Detroit I put it in my lap or take my AK pistol and rest it next to me. I also lock my doors and roll slowly through stop signs if peeps is around. Also, never put car in park, keep in drive. and dont go to fast food drive-thrus in the hood, as you can get trapped. I have pulled out a CP and open carried if I have to stop for gas in a really bad area. A glock on the hip says- 1. I might be a cop. 2. I am not to be fucked with. 3. I am not to be fucked with. CPL holders can carry non concealed or partially concealed here in MI. |

That was not brave, it was stupid. If there is someone holding a gun, ready to shoot you, you comply and talk to them. Make them feel at ease. If they want you to shut up, you do it. Pissing them off will get you killed. The only way I would fight back is if I am carrying myself and got a good chance to shoot, or get away.  |
