Shit, I used to rationalize things. I would say to myself the torturers in Africa aren't humans, they must be lacking some gene for compassion. Then I looked at the Middle East. I thought perhaps they weren't really people either, they must be missing some important gene. Then I looked at North Korea and China. Now Mexico. I'm now realizing, they are humanity. This is humanity.
