And the reason for that is the government refuses to regulate illicit drugs, meaning the demand for drugs is co-erced onto an unregulated black market. There will always be a demand for drugs. Just as there is a demand for alcohol. Yet you don't see people being beheaded in relation to the illegal trafficking of Alcohol. Why? Because the sale of Alcohol is regulated. However, in the days when Alcohol was prohibited in the USA, there were mobster shootings with the good old tommy gun and the like. This is not a substance problem. It's a social problem. |
