War Between Factions Leaves 3 Dead + 3 Injured
A war between factions in Manaus left 3 men dead yesterday afternoon (31st August 2018). 2 men + 1 woman were injured + taken to the hospital. The victims had all been playing football in a field when they were set upon by 8 gunmen who had arrived in 2 cars. DECEASED T.A.A. (30) T.Q.D.M. (31) U.D.O.M. (29) INJURED E.L.D.S. (17) G.S. (28) M.R.D.S. (36)

By "football" I guess that means "soccer" as we call it here in the US. BTW, I have come to understand and enjoy "football" more over the last couple of years. I watched the entire FIFA tournament recently and developed a new appreciation for the sport. And this leads me to my question about this story. Who was winning?  |
