No one held Africans back.

We Brits improved every shit hole we colonised and improved the standard of living for the natives. Then we left. Blacks are incapable of advancement or fending for themselves without White intervention. They have, historically, proved this time and time again.

Oh and the Dutch and French colonised Africa too. Not just the Brits.
