Actually, you've answered your own question. He probably WAS one of the guys hanging off the side or standing on the roof, etc & that was probably what led to the injury in the first place.

How do these people not see those big frigging trains? I mean, come on, you must hear them even if you don't see them. 4 million people standing on the roof of the train, 3 million hanging off the sides and you STILL manage to wipe your face on one!?
