I remember this when it happened. That's less than 5 minutes away from me & it's the 7 Eleven that replaced the one a couple hundred feet away that I biked to as a kid & I've been there fairly often. The strange thing is that that part of town isn't known as a high crime area (there's hardly any crime in my neighborhood) even though 2 people have been killed at that 7 Eleven in the past several years. Here's a story about the unsolved murder of a 16-yo kid who was shot inside his car while he was on break when working at that store in 2020:
