I think the reason there was no blood is because its a survival mechanism of the body. I have read of and heard of people who lose there arm in a quick many (such as in the vid) and the blood vessels constrict because the arm is by all standards "non-vital" which stops them from bleeding to death....the body knows how to survive.....
it was bleeding a bit, but your right, not enough to die straight away

That will last for some time but ultimately if you don't get patched up you'll drain in minutes. The blood just floods out when those muscles are out of juice.

why wasn't there any blood?
Elastic recoil of the blood vessels will sometimes cause them to "snap" shut when ripped or torn rather than cut.
