Violent Clashes Between Border Commandos and FARC - 15 Dead
"VIOLENT CLASHES IN CAQUETA AND PUTUMAYO LEAVE A BALANCE OF 15 DEAD, THE COMMUNITY MOBILIZES TO BURY THE VICTIMS" Violent clashes have been recorded between illegal armed groups in the border area between Caquetá and Putumayo, resulting in at least 15 deaths. The fighting took place on the sidewalk of October 4 and La Estrella, between the Border Commandos and members of the Carolina Ramírez Front of the FARC. According to information provided by local residents, the community itself would be moving the bodies of the victims to a place known as Puerto Piro, located approximately thirty minutes downstream from Curillo, in the south of Caquetá. |
