Vietnamese Woman Stabs Her Mother-in-Law to Death
Đồng Tháp, Vietnam The commune police received a report of a homicide at the home of Mr. C.M.L., with the victim being Mr C.'s wife, Mrs. L.T.T., born 1970. Police quickly apprehended the perpetrator, identified as Huỳnh Thị Nghĩa, born 1990, who was Mrs. L.'s daughter-in-law. Huỳnh married Mrs. L's son in 2011, and the couple had two children together. In 2023, her husband left, but Huỳnh continued to live with her in-laws, working odd jobs to support her children. Conflicts frequently arose between Huỳnh and her in-law. At approximately 3:30 a.m. on September 15, Nghia used a knife to stab Ms. T. multiple times, causing the victim to die at the scene. |
