The only information I found came in a series of text messages, and who knows how accurate that is.

Apparently, the man, who was 44, had "spinal cord disease". He was abusive to his wife and child, and his wife left him. So he killed himself and tried to burn down the whole house so that his wife and child had no place to live. He apparently also got his child to livestream it on Facebook.

I almost question the legitimacy of this one. Simply because of that amount of time he was able to somehow still be alive & look at the picture, like really look at where there are areas other than black, I’m certainly no expert, but that just doesn’t look right to me, but could be wrong
